The Cramahe Resident Advocate Association is an incorporated not-for-profit organization that was established to represent Residents in matters of zoning and land uses in the Township of Cramahe.

Our Mission

The Cramahe Resident Advocate Association (CRAA) was founded to give Cramahe residents a strong and unified voice in local decision-making. We are committed to ensuring that:

  • Our community’s concerns are heard and respected by Council.

  • Tax dollars are used responsibly and transparently.

  • Local resources are protected from reckless giveaways.

  • Our water sources remain safe and safeguarded for future generations.

  • The Official Plan is upheld fairly, without bias or undue influence.

CRAA stands for responsible growth, accountability, and the preservation of Cramahe’s integrity. Together, we can make a difference.

Get Involved

Engagement encourages participation, action, personal responsibility and democracy. Cramahe belongs to everyone who lives here. We all have a right to have a say in Township efforts that affect our quality-of-life.

  • Key principles of public engagement: inclusivity; early involvement and timely communication; respect; transparency and accountability; a clear and coordinated approach; and continuous improvement.

  • How residents, council and Township employees each play a role and work together to bring forth and hone ideas and decisions.

  • Guidelines for participation to ensure a safe space for voicing opinions and ideas. The CRAA has made a commitment to engage the public and local council members in constructive dialogue about our Township today and into the future.
